RPO provider Pro Contact recently moved into a new office in Den Bosch. Alongside the head office on the A10 in the capital and the Belgian office in Antwerp, this is the third location where Pro Contact has set up shop. It's a logical step: many of the agency's clients are based in North Brabant, the home turf of founder Noud Baijens. Pro Contact Den Bosch is also a good way to recruit new colleagues in the south of the country.

Pro Contact Den Bosch as a test case

The new base in Den Bosch also serves as a test case. Many SMEs operate locally and often still choose suppliers close by. With this step, Pro Contact wants to spread its wings further at local level. “If this catches on, we want to expand to more regions. See it as the modern version of the temp agency. You'll find those on the high street of every medium-sized town too,” says Baijens. Who knows, in a while Pro Contact may expand to cities like Rotterdam, Groningen, Zwolle or The Hague. But one thing is certain: it's an exciting and promising first step.

Pro Contact Antwerp

The RPO provider is also active abroad, including in Belgium. So the company is growing fast, in both offices and staff. Pro Contact Belgium is a smaller location where mainly recruitment consultants work. Even so, this earlier expansion marked an important step for Pro Contact: the team looked beyond the Dutch border and expanded its services as a result. That also required extra expertise; after all, the Dutch labour market is different from the Belgian one. Belgium, for example, is a little behind the Netherlands when it comes to (online) recruitment. The language difference is also clearly noticeable. Fortunately, Pro Contact's recruitment team is used to adapting to every target group, even when that means doing research first.

Mainly recruitment consultants

Just like in Belgium, Pro Contact Den Bosch is mainly run by recruitment consultants. But more and more recruiters, sales staff and recruitment marketers are also taking a seat in the new office. Handy, because it means the team can take on projects for clients in the south of the country itself. That's especially useful when recruitment consultants visit a client, or when interim recruiters make calls from a client's location. For this reason, the Den Bosch office mainly employs people from Brabant: the less travel time, the better. That makes things easier not only for Pro Contact's staff, but also for their clients. PC'ers can visit them even more easily, which considerably strengthens the relationship.

And what about Pro Contact Amsterdam?

For now, the RPO services (Recruitment Process Outsourcing), consisting of employer branding and job marketing campaigns, for example, are still largely delivered from the head office in Amsterdam. It remains Pro Contact's head office too, as it's in a central, easily accessible location. A team made up of every possible discipline works here: from recruiters and recruitment consultants to creatives, developers and graphic designers. A sales team, recruitment marketers and a large part of the online recruitment agency's management also have a permanent workplace in the Amsterdam office.
