Building the best recruitment strategy together

Finding good people through a recruitment campaign is a piece of cake. At least, if you have a strong recruitment strategy. And there's quite a lot to it: who is your ideal target group, which approach do you choose and what should the content look like? Before the recruitment process kicks off, we discuss topics like these. That way, we create a recruitment strategy that fits your goals and organisation; one that gives direction to the search ahead. Want to know more about the ideal recruitment strategy?

To carry out a recruitment strategy efficiently, it helps to see it as a step-by-step plan. Before we start anything, we write down all the key points. That results in a strong strategy, which we pass on to the creative and recruitment teams.

The target group and the job profile

Who exactly are you looking for? Picture your ideal new colleague. Don't just think about age and location, but also about (soft and hard) skills, qualifications and years of work experience. Does someone need a driving licence or their own transport? A forklift certificate or experience with a crane? We use this information in the next steps. If you choose a recruitment campaign, it helps us make sure the content appeals to the target group. It also comes in handy when we interview candidates.

What will the overall approach be?

We start with a strong foundation. Will you go for an RPO campaign, job marketing, employer branding or (just) interim recruitment? Together we discuss which option (or combination) suits you best. If you have a good team of recruiters who can follow up on candidates, an online campaign alone may be enough. Don't have that, or are your recruiters too busy? Then choose RPO or interim recruitment. Want to think bigger and put your organisation in the spotlight as an employer? Then go for employer branding.

Information for the content

Going for an employer branding or RPO campaign? Then we first need to pin down a few things. We start by going back to the target group. Which channel suits them best? Young people often hang out on Snapchat and TikTok, while technical talent is often found on Reddit. Facebook and especially Instagram work for a broad audience. Also think about the language and the images that will be used in the recruitment campaign. These need to appeal to the target group too. Do you want men or women in the picture, younger or more experienced people, stock photos or your own images?

Something extra?

Add something extra and you increase your chances of more candidates. A video or photo shoot strengthens your recruitment campaign and gives you plenty of material you can use for a long time, for example on your website, socials or careers website. Don't have a careers website yet? We can create one for you too. We can also make your (vacancy) texts SEO-proof, so they read well and are easy to find on Google.

A good recruitment strategy doesn't stop once the plan is made. We carry it out, analyse the results and optimise based on what the first period delivered. That way, we keep adjusting and improving the recruitment strategy for the best possible result, and get the most out of the search.

We combine job marketing, interim recruitment and employer branding, and run campaigns under your company's name. Candidates are employed directly by you, with no placement fee or agency mark-up. The ideal extension of your HR department!
