The challenge

AEB's two large plants run around the clock. That's why AEB was looking for a lot of new colleagues.

The problem was that the company didn't have enough in-house expertise to handle recruitment itself. So AEB bought individual campaigns from external agencies. Because the work was spread across several agencies, the process as a whole often became hard to keep track of.

AEB needed a clear plan for its recruitment marketing. So the company went looking for a specialist with expertise across the different branches of recruitment.

The approach

AEB chose several options, including employer branding. The employer branding campaign generated plenty of new website visitors and online visibility. Combined with new visuals, a job marketing campaign, interim recruitment and a new careers website, it brought sourcing, branding and recruitment marketing under one roof.

Careers website

Anyone who clicked through from the employer branding campaign landed on AEB's brand-new careers website. Complete with sharp vacancy texts and appealing visuals. See the site for yourself at werkenbij.aebamsterdam.nl.

Photo and video shoot

A photo and video shoot showed AEB and its employees at their best. Those visuals were later used in both the campaigns and the careers website.

RPO

Alongside the employer branding campaign, a job marketing campaign also ran for AEB. The company also opted for interim recruitment: Pro Contact recruiters followed up on the candidates from these campaigns.

The result

The employer branding campaign reached 2,027,948 people and led to 16,878 visitors to the brand-new careers website. All for a cost per click of just €0.29. A powerful combination, then.
