Facebook, a local newspaper and traditional recruitment agencies did not bring E.T.B. Willem Bos the people it was looking for. By searching in a targeted way and trying something new now and then, 8 new colleagues joined in a short time, at a competitive price.
E.T.B. Willem Bos is a family business where colleagues stay for a long time, but even there reinforcements were needed. Advertising on Facebook itself, a vacancy in a local newspaper and traditional recruitment agencies did not deliver what the company was looking for. With Pro Contact, 8 new colleagues joined in a short time, at a competitive price.

Servicing, maintenance, new builds, commercial projects and sustainable solutions: for all of that, E.T.B. Willem Bos is the place to go. The family business was founded in 1978 by Willem Bos and has been owned by his sons William and Jeroen since 2008. Staff turnover is hardly an issue.
“Colleagues stay here a long time; we celebrate a lot of long service anniversaries. We also really want our team to go to and from work with a smile. That family atmosphere is very important to us.”

Even so, the company was looking for reinforcements. In the past, E.T.B. Willem Bos had already tried various ways of finding new staff, without the result it was looking for.
“We have placed our own ads on Facebook, and we have outsourced this to other parties. But that content simply did not attract enough candidates, and the people who did respond were usually not suitable. We have also advertised in a local newspaper, but that was a fairly expensive option that did not deliver the result we had hoped for.”

At some point, E.T.B. Willem Bos decided to take a different approach to finding fitters. The campaign targeted freelancers: a group that could offer the company many advantages if they returned to (or took up) permanent employment.
“We soon found out that this was not the right solution. After all, a good freelancer often has his or her own work. The campaign generated lots of responses, but the quality of the candidates turned out not to be at the level we were looking for. In the end, the only way to find that out is by testing it, so I am glad we did.”

According to William, what makes the partnership strong is the regular weekly contact.
“This really is a top-class partnership now. I have great contact with my contact people, who do everything they can to get the most out of it. By getting together briefly as a three every week, everyone is always up to date on the status of the project. That way we know where we can step things up and where we need to pay a bit more attention. If, for example, we notice that we are too often getting candidates with the wrong experience or from the wrong area, we know we need to adjust the campaign settings. It is great to be kept informed like that.”

In a short time, E.T.B. Willem Bos hired 8 new colleagues, at a competitive price. For William, the difference also lies in how you pay.
“That is what I like about Pro Contact: you do not pay a fee here. With traditional recruitment agencies, that can run up to 20 or 25% of a gross annual salary. At Pro Contact you pay a fixed amount, whether you hire 2 or 10 people. So far we have been able to hire 8 people.”
